Arburg will present two injection moulding exhibits at Plast Eurasia, which will take place from 2 to 5 December 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey. At its stand 1114 in Hall 11, the company will demonstrate an electric Allrounder 1800 e Trend for the energy-efficient production of silicone cartridge components and a hybrid Allrounder 470 H from the Hidrive series for manufacturing oven knobs. The applications are intended to illustrate the scope of the company's injection moulding portfolio, covering standard production tasks as well as automated, high-volume manufacturing.

Çağrı Ünver, Managing Director of Arburg Turkey, said: "Plast Eurasia is one of the largest and most important trade fairs for the plastics industry in the Eurasian region. As a highlight, we are showcasing our new electric Allrounder Trend machines, capable of handling the majority of standard applications. With another exhibit, we are showcasing the Hidrive high-performance series, whose machines can be precisely tailored to our customers' requirements."

Allrounder Trend for standard applications

The Allrounder 1800 e Trend, with a clamping force of 1,800 kN, will manufacture components for silicone cartridges. It will use an eight-cavity mould supplied by Turkish partner İmren Plastik and operate with a cycle time of approximately 18 seconds. According to Arburg, the project also illustrates the cooperation between its Turkish organisation and regional suppliers.

The electric Allrounder Trend range is designed for standard applications across different industries. Arburg states that the machines are available for delivery worldwide at short notice. The series is intended to provide quick setup, intuitive operation, straightforward maintenance, high energy efficiency, and comparatively low investment and operating costs. It is also supported by the company's globally standardised service network.

Four machine sizes are currently available, with clamping forces from 500 to 2,000 kN. Every model is equipped with the Gestica lite control system, which features an intuitive user interface and a clearly structured dashboard. For automated production, Allrounder Trend machines can be combined with Arburg robot systems and suitable compact guards.

Automated production on a hybrid machine

The second exhibit will be a hybrid Allrounder 470 H with a clamping force of 1,000 kN. Equipped with another mould from İmren Plastik, the machine will produce four polycarbonate oven knobs in a cycle time of about 40 seconds. A Multilift Select 8 linear robot system will remove the parts from the four-cavity mould and place them on a conveyor belt. The application demonstrates automated series production using a machine from Arburg's Hidrive high-performance range.

Local services throughout the machine life cycle

At Plast Eurasia, Arburg will also present the services offered by its organisation in Turkey. These cover planning, design, application-specific consulting, system maintenance, training and technical support.

Ünver said: "Our organisation in Turkey offers a comprehensive range of products and services. Our expertise ranges from planning, design and application-specific advice, through to the maintenance of our systems and training courses, right through to technical support. We see ourselves as a long-term, reliable partner throughout the entire life cycle of our injection moulding technology. Our customers always receive the right solutions for high-quality and reliable injection-moulded part production."
