Syensqo will showcase its portfolio of specialty polymers at Fakuma 2026, focusing on materials for complex components manufactured in different sizes, applications and production technologies. The exhibits will cover processing routes including extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, thermoforming, machining, micro-molding, coating and laser welding. The company plans to present examples ranging from miniature precision parts to large structures, with applications in electric, hybrid and internal-combustion vehicles, AI data centers, construction and thermal systems, consumer goods, food-contact products and electronics.

"Material performance is only part of the equation. How a material flows, forms and joins during manufacturing can determine whether an ambitious design can become an industrial reality. At Fakuma, we are bringing materials, processes and finished components together so engineers can explore those possibilities firsthand," said Wolf Sanner, EVP Electronics & Industrial and Channel Partner & Digital Sales.

Materials for automotive electrical and thermal systems

Across electric, hybrid and internal-combustion vehicles, materials must satisfy different design and manufacturing requirements. Syensqo's portfolio addresses applications ranging from electrical insulation and power electronics to thermal management.

  • Electric motors: KetaSpire PEEK can be extruded directly onto magnet wire conductors. It is complemented by Ajedium films and extruded profiles for slot liners, as well as Ryton Supreme HF for thin-wall injection-molded bobbins and resolvers.
  • 800 V power modules: Amodel PPA Bios is intended for complex, miniaturized injection-molded components with demanding dimensional, thermal and electrical requirements.
  • Busbars: Ryton PPS Orange can be processed by extrusion or injection molding. Its integrated orange color provides high visibility and eliminates an in-process coloring step, simplifying the manufacture of components for electric motors, power electronics and fast-charging systems.
  • Thermal management systems: Ryton PPS XE is used for extruded and laser-welded coolant lines, connectors and brackets. Amodel PPA is used for an injection-molded automatic transmission fluid guide ring and delivery tube. The application received an Altair Enlighten Award in 2025 and was nominated as a finalist in the 2026 PACE Awards. According to the supplied information, the novel stator cooling design reduces weight by 47% and costs by 36% compared with conventional metal solutions.

Applications in data centers and electronics

The thermal, dimensional and electrical requirements encountered in automotive applications are becoming increasingly relevant in AI data centers. Higher power densities and more compact designs require heat resistance, dimensional precision and electrical reliability.

Syensqo will present Amodel PPA and Ryton PPS for capacitor housings, as well as Omnix HPPA for high-precision DDR5 connector components. Halar ECTFE, Ryton PPS and Ixef PARA will also be shown for connectivity and electrical protection applications. The portfolio additionally includes high-performance polymers for micro-molded electronic components requiring very small dimensions and precise production.

Construction, consumer and food-contact products

For construction and thermal systems, the company will show Ryton PPS for blow-molded, thermoformed and machined pipes and water lines used in buildings and heat-pump systems.

In consumer goods, Omnix HPPA 1030 Echo RPRF, containing 98% recycled material, is used for injection-molded components in the woom WOW self-balancing bicycle for toddlers.

Food-contact applications include high-purity Duradex PPSU Echo, produced with 38% certified circular feedstock, for molded nursing bottles. The exhibits will also include ultra-fine, water-based Radel PPSU coatings for metal surfaces in premium non-stick cookware.

Technical support and circular materials

Syensqo supplements its materials portfolio with global laboratory capabilities and local application expertise. Its support covers material and process selection, component design, testing, validation and production.

Customers can also use materials from the Echo portfolio, which are designed to provide equivalent performance and specifications. The objective is to facilitate the integration of more circular materials while limiting the need for revalidation.

Visitors will be able to view the components and discuss material and processing requirements with Syensqo specialists in Hall B4, Booth 4213 at Fakuma 2026.
