FCS reports record machine sales at TaipeiPlas 2026
FCS reported orders for 32 injection moulding machines worth NT$80 million during TaipeiPlas 2026. The company presented automated systems, AI-based process monitoring and energy consumption measurement.
FCS reported record order intake during the five-day Taipei International Plastics & Rubber Industry Show, TaipeiPlas 2026. According to the company, its booth generated valid contact details from more than 320 prospective customers worldwide, as well as 46 potential transactions with an estimated combined value of NT$264 million. Orders placed in connection with the exhibition covered 32 injection moulding machines worth NT$80 million, corresponding to 200% of the company's order target. The FB two-component machines, SA series outward-toggle injection moulding machines and CT all-electric injection moulding machines attracted particular interest. Export activity included orders from Malaysia and the Philippines. A delegation from Vietnam ordered 22 machines, including the SA-1000, with the transaction valued at NT$60 million.
The company presented its largest machine line-up to date, connected through the iMF 4.0 Intelligent ManuFactory system. The exhibit was intended to demonstrate an automated production environment focused on manufacturing efficiency, energy monitoring and lower carbon emissions. FCS combined large-tonnage equipment, all-electric technology, artificial intelligence and process data networking in live production demonstrations.
Injection moulding systems and process control
The SA-1000 high-performance moulding system was represented by a 1,000-tonne outward-toggle injection moulding machine. Its overall length has been reduced by 17%. During the exhibition, the machine formed woven-pattern plastic chairs in an automated production cycle lasting 50 seconds.
The SA-160 AI smart moulding system was demonstrated in a fully automated application producing stationery trays. It uses AI-based virtual metrology to predict product quality in real time. Precise flow control stabilises mould temperature within a range of 2°C, supporting process repeatability and quality assurance.
FCS also presented the CT-120e all-electric low-carbon moulding system. Developed through industry-academia cooperation, the machine featured the company's new real-time, multi-stage energy consumption measurement and monitoring technology. The solution provides process data for applications using post-consumer recycled materials and for corporate carbon accounting.
Awards for quality and temperature monitoring
FCS received one Gold and one Silver distinction in the TaipeiPlas Awards. The AI quality self-monitoring injection moulding machine received the Gold award, while the mould water flow and temperature sensing and control system was awarded Silver.
According to the company, the two solutions address limitations associated with delayed testing and undetected restrictions in mould cooling-water circuits. Their purpose is to integrate quality monitoring directly into the machine and provide improved visibility of process conditions.
AI and data networking in production
Dr Vicent Lin of the FCS FAE Center participated in the forum titled "AI-Driven: Digital Transformation and Supply Chain Performance Optimization" on 17 September. In a presentation on "Scientific Molding and Data Networking," he discussed the use of artificial intelligence and networked process data to optimise injection moulding. The session concluded with a guided presentation of the smart factory configuration at the FCS booth.
FCS positioned smart manufacturing and sustainability as the main themes of its TaipeiPlas 2026 presence. The displayed technologies combined automated moulding cells, real-time quality prediction, mould-temperature control and energy consumption monitoring.
