Husky introduces HyCAP 4.0 tooling for beverage closures
Husky Technologies has launched its HyCAP 4.0 tooling platform for high-volume injection molding of beverage closures. The system supports lightweight and tethered designs while targeting longer mold life, process stability and reduced maintenance.
Husky Technologies has launched its next-generation HyCAP 4.0 tooling platform for beverage closure manufacturing. The platform combines precision engineering, enhanced durability and production flexibility to address changing sustainability objectives, regulatory requirements and performance expectations. It is intended for high-speed injection molding applications, including ultra-lightweight closures and designs with tethered caps. According to the company, optimized tooling geometry supports repeatable production and consistent part quality for complex closure geometries while maintaining tight tolerances and process stability. The platform is also designed to help manufacturers increase output without compromising closure quality.
