Bole Europe at Fakuma 2026: two technologies, one goal - maximum efficiency
At Fakuma 2026, Bole Europe will present the all-electric FE 110 injection moulding machine and the two-platen DK 200. The demonstrations will focus on energy consumption, process precision, repeatability and the cost of producing a good part.
At Fakuma 2026 in Friedrichshafen, Bole Europe will present two approaches to energy-efficient injection moulding. At stand A7-7405, visitors will see the all-electric FE 110 injection moulding machine and the compact two-platen DK 200. The presentation will focus on energy efficiency, process precision, repeatability and reducing the production cost of an individual part. The company will take part in the event held from 12 to 16 October 2026 at Messe Friedrichshafen in Germany. The presentation slogan, "Two Technologies. One Goal. Maximum Efficiency.", is intended to highlight the potential to achieve high production efficiency using different drive technologies and machine designs.
The two injection moulding machines represent different design concepts. The FE 110 is an all-electric machine, while the DK 200 uses a two-platen clamping unit and a servo-hydraulic drive. In both cases, the objective is not only to reduce energy consumption but also to improve overall process efficiency, including production stability, repeatability, scrap reduction and the lowest possible cost of producing a good part.
FE 110 with independent electric drives
The FE 110 represents Bole's range of all-electric injection moulding machines. The use of independent electric drives enables precise control of individual machine movements and allows energy to be used when it is actually required by the process.
The solution is intended to provide low energy consumption, high control accuracy and repeatability across successive production cycles. Precise control of the injection unit and clamping unit movements helps maintain stable process parameters, which is particularly important when manufacturing technically demanding parts.
The electric drive also enables fast, dynamic machine movements that help shorten cycle times. At the same time, the FE 110 operates quietly and cleanly, meeting the requirements of plants where both energy costs and workplace conditions are important. The company summarises the machine's operating philosophy with the phrase: "Energy only when you need it."
DK 200 with a two-platen clamping unit
The second machine on display will be the DK 200, which uses a two-platen clamping unit. This design makes it possible to achieve high clamping force with relatively compact machine dimensions. The shorter clamping unit enables more efficient use of production floor space, which may be relevant both when designing new production lines and modernising existing plants.
The DK 200 combines a compact design with energy-efficient drive control, process stability and throughput intended for industrial production. Efficient transfer of clamping force and the two-platen design enable the available machine space to be used in applications requiring larger moulds, while limiting the equipment footprint.
Another element of the DK concept is the energy efficiency of its servo-hydraulic system. Hydraulic flow is adjusted to current process demand. This reduces the energy losses associated with older hydraulic systems operating at a constant output.
Energy consumption per good part
At Fakuma 2026, Bole Europe intends to draw attention to a broader understanding of production efficiency. Low power consumption is only one component. Process repeatability, cycle time, scrap levels, consistent quality and the total cost of producing one good part are also relevant.
One of the company's main messages will be the "Less Energy per Good Part" concept. Under this approach, energy efficiency is assessed not only in terms of the machine's instantaneous energy consumption, but also in terms of the efficiency of the entire production process.
The FE 110 and DK 200 present two ways of achieving this objective. The FE 110 uses direct electric drives to provide precision, dynamic operation and process control. The DK 200 combines compact two-platen technology with industrial throughput and an energy-efficient drive system. The machines will be presented in hall A7 at stand 7405.
