FCS reports injection moulding machine orders at Fakuma 2026
FCS says it sold the CT-120e machine displayed at Fakuma 2026 and received an order for an FB-750Re two-component model. The company also presented its work with a German Tier 1 automotive supplier.
FCS Group reported two injection moulding machine orders associated with its participation in Fakuma 2026: the sale of the CT-120e all-electric machine displayed at the fair and an order for the FB-750Re large electric two-component machine. According to the company, the orders amounted to 390% of its exhibition sales target. FCS exhibited alongside a German Tier 1 automotive supplier with which it has an established partnership. The presentation focused on precision moulding, energy efficiency and automation for automotive and industrial plastic components.
The 30th Fakuma took place from 12 to 16 October 2026 at Messe Friedrichshafen in Germany. According to the figures provided, it attracted 1,547 exhibitors from 39 countries and 36,278 trade visitors, with international visitors accounting for 42%. The trade fair covers plastics processing technologies, including injection moulding, automation, precision tooling and materials. FCS used its participation to present both an operating all-electric machine and its broader range of multi-component moulding equipment to European customers.
Automotive partnership and two-component equipment
FCS said its German Tier 1 partner already operates several of its machines. Their collaboration also includes a customised LM-1700 two-platen, two-component injection moulding machine with an inclined piggyback dual-injection configuration. The machine is scheduled for installation at the supplier after Fakuma 2026 and is intended for large automotive plastic components.
Automotive applications cited by FCS include interior and exterior parts, lighting systems and components combining different materials. In two-component injection moulding, different colours or materials can be incorporated within one moulding cycle. Depending on the part design, this can reduce subsequent assembly steps and allow functions to be integrated in a single component.
CT-120e demonstration and orders
The CT-120e all-electric injection moulding machine uses an all-electric servo drive system. FCS specifies an injection speed of up to 300 mm/s, positioning repeatability of ±0.01 mm and specific energy consumption below 0.37 kWh/kg. At the fair, the machine was paired with robotic automation to produce a 90 g stackable storage bin in a single-cavity mould. The demonstration showed a production application for an industrial plastic product.
FCS also identifies precision electronics, medical devices, optics, food containers and automotive plastic components as application areas for its CT-e series. The company reported that it sold the CT-120e exhibited at Fakuma and received a separate order for the FB-750Re large electric two-component machine during the five-day event. Together, the orders covered two distinct product lines: all-electric precision moulding and large two-component moulding.
FCS plans to continue offering all-electric and multi-component injection moulding equipment, together with smart manufacturing solutions, to European producers of automotive components, precision electronics and industrial plastic products. Its cooperation with the German automotive supplier includes the planned installation of the LM-1700 machine.
