Haitian to present integrated production at Fakuma 2026

2026-09-18

Haitian International will present two live injection moulding applications at Fakuma 2026, supported by additional machines at partner stands. The exhibits will cover automotive components, high-volume packaging, automation and medical production.

Haitian International will focus on practical production benefits for European plastics processors at Fakuma 2026. Under the motto "Level Up! Your Advantage", the company will demonstrate machine technology for different industries, flexible integration and automation, as well as the continued localisation of its European organisation. Two live exhibits at Haitian's new stand in Hall B1 will be complemented by machines operating at partner stands. The main applications will address automotive components and high-volume packaging, combining injection moulding machines with moulds, process equipment, automation and quality control. The company will also outline its approach to turnkey projects, including scalable automation from Haitian Smart Solutions and the integration of third-party equipment through open interfaces. In parallel, Haitian is expanding its European manufacturing, engineering and support activities through its recently opened facility in Ruma, Serbia.

Automotive component on the Jupiter Series

For the automotive sector, a Haitian Jupiter Series JU7500V will produce a 254 g rear trunk lens from polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). The single-cavity light-guide application will operate with a cycle time of approximately 65 seconds. The mould and FLEXflow hot runner system are supplied by Oerlikon.

The servo-hydraulic two-platen machine will be combined with temperature-control equipment and an integrated Haitian robot cell. The production cell is intended to demonstrate a production-ready configuration for demanding automotive components.

High-speed production of tethered caps

A Zhafir Zeres Fast Series ZE3000F will demonstrate a high-volume packaging application. The machine will produce 24 tethered caps from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) in a cycle of less than three seconds, using a mould supplied by HTW.

The electric packaging system will be combined with an IntraVis CapWatcher Compact for automated handling and quality inspection. The inspection unit has a compact footprint and is designed for high-volume production. For data visualisation and process optimisation, the Zeres machine will be digitally connected to Osphim's cloud platform.

Scalable automation and open interfaces

Haitian will also present its capabilities as a turnkey solution provider in Europe. Together with its sister company Haitian Smart Solutions, it has expanded its automation portfolio, which ranges from basic pick-and-place systems to individually engineered automation solutions.

The approach is based on scalable integration. Open interfaces remain part of Haitian's automation strategy, enabling third-party equipment to be incorporated where required. This allows processors to adapt automation systems to different production environments, investment levels and application complexity.

European production and engineering in Serbia

The recently opened production facility in Ruma is intended to strengthen Haitian International's local manufacturing, engineering and support capabilities for the European market. The site currently produces servo-hydraulic Mars and Jupiter Series machines and also operates as a regional spare-parts hub.

Haitian is developing local engineering and research and development capabilities for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems at the Serbian facility. The objective is to adapt machines and integrated production solutions more closely to European market requirements. The development combines the group's global manufacturing resources with more local development, production and system integration.

Additional applications at partner stands

At the Gollmer Formen stand in Hall A2-2213, a Haitian MA900V will produce a gas-cylinder key from PA6 in a two-cavity mould with a 30-second cycle. The servo-hydraulic Mars Series machine will demonstrate the production of the component with integrated intelligent functions and flexible peripheral integration.

At TST DE in Hall A1-1512, a Zhafir ZE1500V will produce a medical nasal component from liquid silicone rubber (LSR). The application will use a four-cavity mould supplied by Elmet. The fifth-generation electric platform features a compact footprint, shorter dry-cycle times, upgraded servo control and intelligent functions.

Haitian International will exhibit at Fakuma 2026 in Hall B1, stand 1205.
